IndianaLocalNews WhatsApp By Jon Zimney – December 19, 2020 0 491 WhatsApp Pinterest Pinterest Twitter Suspects in deadly shooting at Waterford Glen Apartments charged with murder Facebook Google+ Twitter Facebook (Photo supplied/ABC 57) The St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office filed charges on Friday, Dec. 18, in connection with a St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit investigation.Dijon Davis and Darius Vaughn were arrested Dec. 16, in connection with a shooting that occurred on Oct. 22 at Waterford Glen Apartments in South Bend, and resulted inthe deaths of Malik Balderos, 21, and Ricky Kinds, Jr., 20.Dijon Marcus Davis, 18 of South Bend, is charged with:Count I: Aiding, Inducing, or Causing Murder a FelonyCount II: Conspiracy to Commit Murder a Level 1 FelonyDavis is also charged with a Felony Firearm Sentencing Enhancement and a CriminalGang Sentencing Enhancement.Darius Jamal Vaughn, 19 of South Bend, is charged with:Count I: Aiding, Inducing, or Causing Murder a FelonyCount II: Conspiracy to Commit Murder a Level 1 FelonyVaughn is also charged with a Criminal Gang Sentencing Enhancement.The sentencing range for Murder is 45 to 65 years. The sentencing range for a Level 1Felony is 20 to 40 years. A Felony Firearm Sentencing Enhancement can add an additional5 to 20 years to the sentence of the underlying offense.
