PLAYER OF THE YEAR Taryn Robertson, Sr., Valencia Although bothered by a wrist injury much of the season, Robertson remained one of the area’s most well-rounded and dominant girls’ volleyball players. The four-year varsity player, a setter, was the Foothill League Player of the Year for the third time. She also was the league’s only representative on the All-Southern Section Div. I team. Other honors included a spot on the all-tournament team at the Redondo tournament. She signed with UC Irvine. last_img
